Calling all Xero on the go users! If you use the Xero app on your android or ios device there have been some time saving updates. You can now reconcile part payments of invoices or bills on your bank reconciliation. This means that if you have an overpayment to deal with you can now sort this on the go and not have to wait until you are at your desk. Anything that saves your time is definitely good with us.
The desktop version of Xero has some awesome updates this quarter. The boffins at Xero have been working hard to make the bank even more intuitive than it is already (and we thought it was pretty decent to begin with!). They now look at more than the amount paid and the reference number as a potential match to your invoices or bills. The result is less suggested matches and more ready to reconcile transactions. Did we mention that green is our favourite colour when it comes to reconciling the bank!
Are all you guys involved in building and construction services ready to start processing transactions with Domestic Reverse Charges? Well if you’re on Xero you don’t need to worry. The tax rates are all there and ready to go. You can add them with one click on the Tax rates screen and you’re all set. These settings will automatically be added to the MTD VAT Return correctly.
